Privacy Policy

JAW Digital ("we", "us") publishes the Companion Journals app: interactive quest logs and progress trackers for Skyrim, Oblivion, Red Dead Redemption 2, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Fallout: New Vegas, and The Witcher 3. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it's used.

What we collect

• Account email. If you sign in to sync your progress, we collect the email address you provide, used solely to authenticate you via Supabase, our backend provider.
• Journal progress. Which entries you've marked complete, tied to your account, so it can sync across your devices. This is gameplay-tracking data only — no game save files, screenshots, or device content are accessed.
• Contact form submissions. If you use the contact form, your name, email, and message are sent via Formspree.

What we don't collect

No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics or ad SDKs, no location data, no contacts, no photos. The app does not track you across other apps or websites.

How data is stored

Account and progress data live in a Supabase-hosted database, access-controlled so each account can only ever read or write its own row. If you never sign in, your progress is stored only in local storage on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Data deletion

To delete your account and all associated progress data, email privacy@jawdigital.dev and we'll remove it within 30 days.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change with it.
